Mineral Springs Alton, Illinois
April 5th Investigation
We arrived at the Mineral Springs Hotel in Alton, Illinois at 10pm on Saturday, April 5, 2008. After a tour of the property by Janet, we finally began our investigation around 11:30pm. After our tour we set up the equipment which included: four IR night vision cameras with a DVR recording system, two hand-held HD video recorders, three digital cameras, and two digital voice recorders. The night itself was real quiet; there was a wedding reception earlier that evening and it may have altered our chances of obtaining solid evidence. We finally wrapped up around 5:30am (April 6th). Our evidence consists of: hard to understand evp's, lots of pictures with dust orbs, and, so far, nothing on video. However, we did catch one amazing evp in the ballroom, which happens to be one of the best evp's we've ever heard.
Below is some evidence we collected and feel are significant enough to share. Send us an email and let us know what you think; we'd love to have other opinions.
PHOTOGRAPHS: No useable photographs were taken. Lots of dust orbs, but no shadows, mist, or other paranormal events captured.
EVP'S : We got a lot of evp evidence at Mineral Springs. Below are some of the better ones, including one of the best EVP's we have ever heard. Mineral Springs in known for there exceptional EVP quality, we just never thought we would get anything this good.
At the end of the night we left with the feeling that we had caught nothing that night. But as with most investigations, you never know what your going to find until you look over the evidence. We hope to be invited back soon.
